Come Join Us at our 55th Annual Art Fair
The Rockbrook Village Art Fair is a two-day outdoor juried art fair in Omaha, Nebraska on September 12 & 13, 2026. The art fair hosts 120 artists from around the country and attracts over 40,000 visitors from across the Midwest. The fair strives to celebrate creativity through a variety of mediums and activities, delighting both exhibitors and attendees.

Angie’s mixed media work incorporates fabric, decorative papers, transparencies, photographs, collagraphs, lithographs, and woodblock prints. Through layered textures, patterns, and textiles, she explores personal experiences and emotional landscapes shaped by teaching, leadership, travel, marriage, motherhood, and loss.
She reflects: “Managing these experiences can be overwhelming. With chaos comes the need for serenity and peace—the need to be alone, yet also the desire to be with others.”
Her work has been exhibited in regional and juried shows, including the Nebraska Art Teachers Association Juried Exhibition and the Omaha Public Schools Art Faculty Show at Hot Shops Art Center. Recent exhibitions include:

Since 2006, Fischer has led the coordination of the Scholastic Art Awards of Nebraska with Omaha Public Schools, supporting the largest juried competition and exhibition of student artwork (grades 7–12) in the state.
Her professional work centers on strengthening equitable access to high-quality art instruction and supporting teachers in implementing rigorous, student-centered curricula.
Ilaamen, with a background in graphic design & illustration, creates representational art that focuses on storytelling.
She has participated in 50+ group exhibits in Omaha, Lincoln, Sioux City, LA, Santa Monica and San Diego, Portland and 3 local solo shows. Her art can be found in private collections around Europe, Asia, Africa, & The Americas.
- Selected as the Omaha Summer Arts Festival Featured Illustrator for 2 consecutive years.
- One of the winners of the 7thedition of Latin American Illustration by AI/AP.
- Selected artist for the United States Department of State’s Art in Embassies program, with the piece “United We Live” being displayed at the US Ambassador’s residence in Kampala, Uganda.
- Featured in SINGULART Magazine from Paris, as One of 7 Illustrators to Watch.
- Has art permanently displayed in the Omaha Public Library.
- Ilaamen has several murals and public art projects in Omaha Nebraska and Council Bluffs Iowa.
