Rockbrook Extends Organic Farmers Market Season to End of September
Rockbrook Village®, known as the shopping center for locally-owned businesses, boutiques and restaurants has extended their Organic Farmers Market season to go through the end of September.
“Due to positive response and support from the community and all the delicious produce that pops up this time of year, we’ve decided to extend our season to the end of September,” says Sarah Backhaus, Marketing Director.
Free to the public, this boutique-farmers market is held on Thursday evenings from 4:00 – 7:00pm in the center plaza area of Rockbrook Village.
With a huge variety of products, patrons can shop and purchase everything they need for dinner and dessert on their way home from work.
Items include organic produce, grass-fed pork, chicken, beef and sausage, eggs, artisan goat cheese, herbs, homemade jams and spreads, seasoning mixes, herbal teas, coffee, bedding plants, perennials, succulents, flowers, baked goods and much more, including sweet corn.
“People are excited about this market,” says Backhaus. “Our plans are to continue to grow and provide people with the fresh, organic & clean foods that they crave.”
With six to eight organic farmers and local vendors, the Organic Farmers Market at Rockbrook Village is every Thursday through September 24th.
